At Oakmont Martial Arts, we are a family!

Our certified instructors have gone through hundreds of hours of training in both Songahm taekwondo curriculum and in teaching methods.  Instructors are CPR certified, have passed periodic background checks, and have attended regional or national instructor certification clinics.  All of our instructors are actively training in martial arts, and continue to advance their knowledge and skills.

We understand that families have busy schedules, so we’ve made our class schedule as flexible as possible. Classes are offered Monday through Saturday at a variety of times, and there is no need to stick to the same class each week! Can’t make it on Monday? Come on Tuesday instead!

Miss a class? No problem, you can make it up by coming extra next week! No need to call or schedule in advance.  As long as your tuition is current, those make-up classes are available to you.

Oakmont Martial Arts instructors know how to make learning fun! Our classes offer a wonderful mix of smiles, laughter, respect, and discipline. 

The American Taekwondo Association offers an extensive tournament circuit, allowing eligible students to compete for State, District, and World Champion. Our region hosts between 4 and 5 tournaments annually, open to students of all ages and ranks.

Oakmont Martial Arts is much more than just a punching and kicking school. Our character development program offers daily lessons, monthly projects, and resources for parenting.

Whether students are setting short term or long term goals, our rank system and performance stripes will help them define and measure their progress. Each belt rank offers a new set of skills to learn. And each newly earned belt or performance stripe rewards the student for their hard work.

We love when parents decide to start training!  In fact, we allow our student’s parents to train for just $35 / month!  Training together is a wonderful family activity and a great bonding experience – whether it’s done in our classes or in the privacy of home. 

Students stick with us because they want to, not because they’re obligated. Oakmont Martial Arts has a strong family atmosphere, and many of our students have been with us for years.
